Blueberry Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter, frozen
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 oz blueberries, fresh or dried
For the Glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/3 cup honey
Instructions:

- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add milk and blueberries to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

- Grate the frozen butter into the flour mixture using a box grater. Gently mix until butter pieces are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll it to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/8 inch.
- Use a biscuit cutter to cut out approximately six biscuits from the dough.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 7 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the microwave.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, water, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and honey to make the glaze.
- Once the biscuits are done baking, brush them with melted butter and drizzle with the prepared glaze.
- Serve warm and enjoy these delicious blueberry biscuits!
